Foreseeing the future, by 2050, 1 in 5 developing countries will face water shortages . And, the shortage would lead to a consequent water stressed globe. The World Resources Institute observed that India with a number of its neighboring countries ranked in the top 50 for the world's most water stressed countries projected for 2040. In light of this, the road ahead is a tough one and only conscious measures can bring the required change. World Water Day is a United Nations initiative aimed at raising awareness about the importance of water and encouraging people to take action to address the emerging water crisis. G.S.R. 40(E) date 22-01-2021.  These inter alia include Mandatory CSR Implementation entity registration in Form CSR-1 w.e.f. This year’s theme of World Wildlife Day is “Forests and Livelihoods: Sustaining People and Planet”, the objective is to highlight the role of forests, forest biodiversity, and ecosystems and sustain the livelihoods of millions of people globally, especially the indigenous communities. The total forest area around the world is approximately 4.06 billion hectares, or approximately 5000 sq.m. (or 50 x 100m) per person, but forests are not equally distributed around the globe.
