Introduced in the monsoon session, the bill after making a successful passage through both Houses of Parliament, received the President of India's assent on 28th September 2020. In Unlock 1.0 the Government of India takes measured steps into re-opening the country in phases. The Ministry of Home Affairs' Order No.  40-3/2020-DM-I A dated May 30, 2020 , gives details about the same.
